  1. RIGO, I would like to have some comments about your project - I need to see your research, your words, evidence of you research, your designer and your roughs

  2. CONCEPT: One student said the design looks like a ransom letter. Down town urban LA – an unusual event for the middle class. Not too clear – only the basics stand out, but I actually think that is a good thing because is references the way the towers are made – almost random and awkward. The layout of items on the page have a good hierarchy, follow a movement around the page which parallels the idea. Middle class art connoisseur interested in public art in the downtown Los Angeles area Destination tourism, art, multiculturalism.

DESIGN: Your colors are excellent – complimentary, orange and blue while the boxes of text are green and red – that is what I saw on your blog.. Although the poster is chaotic there is movement through the image – a movement that can be walked through using a grid – the items are lining up. It is playful and will catch the target markets attention. The text with the address needs to be pushed down a bit. A little scary like a ransom note references the area where the watts tower is situated. – I actually don’t get that feeling more an urban jungle feel.

BLOG: Rigoberto, there are no statements, evidence of research, hand roughs, so we are truly unaware of what you are doing the advertisement for. Please complete for a better grade. This is like a process book. I could make you do that as well but I feel this is an easy, digital way to trace our process which is necessary for all design work.

Presentation / Participation: You need to come to class more regularly, This is a studio class, which means you have to come to class. I need to a more concentrated effort in you explanations.
